Manufactured in Suhl, Germany from 1922 to 1930 by C.G. Haenel. This pistol was of basic blowback
operation using some designs of Hugo Schmeisser, and is often referred to as the Schmeisser pistol. One important design feature is that the gun could not be fired unless the magazine was inserted. Quality workmanship is evident.
