BAYARD 1923, .25 ACP:

ORIGIN – BELGIUM
CALIBER – .25 ACP
WEIGHT – 12 OZ.
OVERALL LENGTH – 4″
Made by Anciens Etablissements Pieper, Herstal, Belgium, this is a basic Browning design reduced in size. The pistols had a recoil absorbing device, a spring behind the recoil spring to act as a shock absorber so that the recoil in the larger calibers was as described in the catalog as “imperceptible”. This model had no magazine safety. Made in .25, .32, and .380. The 1908 models were identical in size for all calibers, the 1923 models differ as did this era’s Brownings.
