Introduced in 1908, this is the first successful German .25 auto and the first pistol designed by Carl Walther and his son Fritz. An elementary blowback,striker fired pistol of simple design, often referred to as the Model 1909. Do not confuse this with Walther’s designation of the Model 9, which was not introduced until 1921.
