Later produced in both .380 and .22LR calibers, it is still manufactured today in essentially the same configuration. Production was discontinued in 1945 and resumed in 1955 by Manurhin in France. License was later returned to Ulm in Germany. License was also given for manufacture to Turkey. Other new features were loaded signal pin and external hammer. A very few PP’s were produced in .25 caliber.
***PRODUCTION NOTE***** Our magazines do not fit in the current guns produced by Walther in the U.S. We are in the process of acquiring a new gun to determine what was changed and update the magazines to either also fit the current model or manufacture a new magazine dedicated to the new production guns.
